As an industrial building developer, and former contractor, I have been inspecting and renovating properties for over 35 years. When not involved in inspections, I continue to maintain my skills on my own properties, which gives me the hands on knowledge that many other inspectors lack. Real world experience, a good set of eyes, coupled with specialized training and tools has prepared me to provide the information you need to make informed decisions concerning your property.

I am an accepted member of: The American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), (ASHI Certified Inspector), the Historic Building Inspectors Association, The Exterior Design Institute, The Institute of Roofing, Waterproofing, & Building Envelope Professionals. I am a Certified Master Home Inspector(r),A Building Science Thermographer, and A CertainTeed Roofing Quality Master Inspector. I consult with the Roberts Consulting Group (windowleaks.com ), and am also a member of the Sealant, Waterproofing and Restoration Institute. I have inspected over 8,000 properties professionally in the past 13 years, and many more during my career as a contractor.

Multi-stage new construction, construction draw, and renovation inspections are available. Forensic investigations of defective propertys is a specialty. Evaluations of structural, roof, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, wall cladding systems and assemblies, fire & safety are given verbally at the time of the inspection with a written report typically produced within 24 hours. The report includes recommendations for corrections of defects found, and maintenance advice to help you reduce long term costs. Cost estimates are provided to help you evaluate the financial impact of the intems found during the inspection. Follow up phone conversations are part of the service. I am available for expert witness work.
